Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Qwizo helps students prepare for exams. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your name, WhatsApp number, exam, the subject you find hardest, any invite code you used, and how you found us (for example the link you clicked).
- Your account (after launch): your email address (and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Google), exam date and subjects.
- Your uploads: the notes and documents you upload, and the summaries, questions and study plans we generate from them.
- Your progress: quiz answers, scores, streaks and coins.
- Usage data: pages visited and buttons used, so we can see what works and fix what doesn't.
How we use it
- To send your waitlist invite and important service messages on WhatsApp.
- To generate your study material and daily plan.
- To improve Qwizo. We look at overall patterns, not your private notes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.
Your uploads are private
Your uploads and everything generated from them are visible only to you. To generate questions and summaries, we send the text of your upload to our AI provider (Anthropic), which processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of providers to run the service:
- Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security
- Anthropic: AI processing of your uploads
- PostHog: product analytics
- Paystack: payments (we never see or store your card details)
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until launch, or until you ask us to remove them. Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your uploads and generated material are deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, or withdraw from the waitlist. Email hello@qwizo.study and we'll respond within 30 days.
Students under 18
Many JAMB candidates are under 18. If you are, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use Qwizo.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
